WOW gives Indigenous kids in New Mexico free access to skiing, baseball, soccer, and cheer, and the future that comes with it.

TWO WAYS TO GET YOUR KIDS INVOLVED
All programs are rooted in Taos Pueblo culture and open to youth ages 6–18. Registration is always free for families.

Taos Pueblo Sports Alliance
Little League Baseball, Soccer, and Cheer for Pueblo youth — registration fees fully covered by WOW. Seasons bring families together in community celebration and build teamwork, discipline, and friendships that last.

WINTER PROGRAM
Charles N. Romero Ski Program
Five ski days each winter at Taos Ski Valley — lift tickets, gear, meals, and instruction all included. Youth who excel can enter the Junior Apprenticeship with the Snowsports department and build real job skills on their ancestral mountain.

Working on Wellness (WOW) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in Taos Pueblo. We believe access to outdoor sports, mentorship, and career opportunity is a right, not a privilege, for every Indigenous child in New Mexico.

We take Pueblo youth to Taos Ski Valley — a mountain their ancestors knew long before it was a resort — and make it theirs again.
